The Challenge
Zevikart needed a scalable multi-vendor marketplace where hundreds of sellers could independently manage their stores, while the platform handled payments, commissions, order routing, and quality control. The platform needed to support Razorpay split payments for automatic vendor payouts, a robust admin moderation system, and real-time updates — all built for the Indian market with UPI and mobile-first design.
Our Solution
We built the entire marketplace from scratch using Next.js 14 with server-side rendering, a typed database layer with a managed database, and an automated split payment system. Each vendor gets their own dashboard with product CRUD, order management, and earnings analytics. The admin panel handles vendor approvals, product moderation, commission management, and dispute resolution. Real-time WebSocket notifications keep everyone in sync.
