Full enterprise resource planning implementation — migrating HMS Enterprises from legacy Marg software to Odoo Community with GST invoicing, multi-warehouse inventory, accounting, and 15+ integrated modules.
The Challenge
HMS Enterprises was running on Marg — a legacy desktop ERP widely used in Indian trading businesses. As the business grew, they needed a modern, cloud-accessible ERP that could handle multi-location inventory, GST compliance, automated purchase workflows, proper accounting, and role-based access for 50+ users across departments. The migration had to preserve years of historical data without disrupting daily operations.
Our Solution
We deployed Odoo Community Edition on a dedicated cloud server with managed reverse proxy and SSL. We migrated the entire product master (10,000+ SKUs), customer/vendor databases, and opening balances from Marg. We configured 15+ modules including Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, and custom modules for HMS-specific workflows. We trained 50+ users and provide ongoing support.
